Automotive Service Advisor

About the role

The Sales and Service Advisor is responsible for selling and promoting automotive products and services, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring customer satisfaction. They greet customers professionally, listen to concerns, inspect vehicles, and recommend appropriate services. They communicate clearly about costs and timelines, document all recommendations, and promote sales of parts and accessories. Post-service follow-ups and tracking warranty parts are also key duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years old
• With or without prior experience as a Service Advisor
• Professional appearance
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to obtain a State Inspector License if needed
• Ability to work Monday through Saturday

Skills & Physical Demands

• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, kneel, and lift up to 70 pounds
• Ability to operate in environments with noise, fumes, and varying temperatures
• Good communication, vision, and motor skills are essential
