About the role
As an Automotive Service Advisor, you are the face of our service department and the primary link between our customers and our technicians. You will guide customers through their vehicle maintenance and repair journey, ensuring they receive expert advice and a seamless service experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers, listen to vehicle concerns, and document service requests accurately.
- Prepare detailed repair estimates, explaining the necessity of services and maintenance based on manufacturer requirements.
- Coordinate with technicians to monitor repair progress and provide timely updates to customers.
- Advise customers on preventive maintenance and additional needed repairs to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
- Manage repair orders (ROs), process payments, and verify warranty or service contract coverage.
Requirements
- Ability to translate technical mechanical terms into easy-to-understand information for customers.
- Basic understanding of automotive systems; ASE Certification is a major plus.
- Experience with dealership management systems (e.g., Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK, or VAST).
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay
$45,000 – $145,000 per year, including performance-based commission.
