About the Role
Pecheles Automotive Group is looking for an experienced, results-driven Sales Manager to lead a high-performing sales floor at one of our Eastern North Carolina dealerships. This isn't an entry point into automotive sales — it's a leadership role for someone who already knows how to close deals, coach a team, and run a department like a business owner would. If you've mastered the sales floor and are ready to run it, this is your next move.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and hold accountable a team of sales professionals to hit and exceed monthly volume and gross targets
- Own the desk — structure deals, approve pricing, and manage deal flow from write-up to delivery
- Set the pace on the floor: daily huddles, performance tracking, and hands-on coaching in real time
- Partner with the General Manager and F&I team to keep inventory turn, CSI scores, and profitability on target
- Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent as the department grows
- Champion a customer-first culture that turns buyers into repeat customers and referrals
What You Bring
- Proven track record as a top-performing salesperson or existing sales manager, ideally in automotive retail
- A track record of leading, motivating, and holding a sales team accountable to real numbers
- Strong desking and deal-structuring skills, with a solid grasp of F&I fundamentals
- A drive for continuous improvement — for yourself and everyone on your team
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Willingness to work a retail schedule, including Saturdays
Why Pecheles
- Competitive base plus aggressive performance-based bonus structure
- Clear path for advancement across a six-rooftop dealership group spanning Hyundai, Volkswagen, Toyota, Audi, Honda, and Ford
- Health, dental, and vision coverage, plus retirement benefits
- Established, growing dealer group with deep roots in Eastern North Carolina
- A leadership team that invests in your development, not just your numbers
