Smithtown Volvo has an opportunity for an experienced salesperson with a strong track record of success to lead. We have a great opportunity with an aggressive pay plan and a structured bonus/commission to meet our large, ready to roll inventory!
Responsibilities
- Develop your leadership skills while helping consumers sort out their automotive needs, creating both personal and financial goals.
- Exhibit consultative selling skills and assists customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
- Handle customer concerns, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within reasonable time limits using dealership’s CRM, phone, text and email.
- Perform high-quality, professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
- Follow up with buyers to ensure a successful referral business.
- Overcome objections and thrive within sales situations.
- Become a team leader by helping the sales team achieve their goals set by management.
- Report directly to the Senior Management team regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyzes.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Reliable and presentable in business attire representing Empire Volvo in a professional matter.
- Must have an excellent attendance record and a commitment to being on time.
- Understand the importance of listening and being empathetic while leading.
- Strong work-ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Experience providing outstanding customer service by showcasing expertise, fostering trust, and growing customer satisfaction.
- At least three years of prior employment in the automotive industry.
- Friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive "team-player" attitude.
- Open to constructive feedback to improve your performance and development.
- Flexible with work scheduling and availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Strong computer and multitasking skills, which includes Microsoft Office.
- Clean, organized, presentable workplace with a strong attention to details.
- Showed stability in the job industry, growing in each position you worked.
- A valid and clean NY state driver’s license and pass a drug and background check.
