Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist them throughout the vehicle shopping and purchasing process.
- Build relationships with customers to understand their automotive needs, preferences, and budgets.
- Present new and pre-owned vehicles, explaining features, technology, safety equipment, and available options.
- Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and test drives.
- Maintain knowledge of current vehicle inventory, manufacturer incentives, and dealership promotions.
- Follow up with internet leads, phone inquiries, and showroom customers.
- Utilize dealership CRM software to manage customer relationships, appointments, and sales opportunities.
- Work with sales managers and finance professionals to provide customers with purchasing and financing options.
- Negotiate and complete vehicle sales while maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation.
- Follow up with customers after their purchase to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Meet individual sales goals and contribute to overall dealership success.
- Participate in ongoing product knowledge and automotive sales training.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
Qualifications
- Previous automotive sales experience is a plus, but not required.
