Automotive Sales Consultant - Berglund Chevrolet

About the role

Berglund Chevrolet is seeking motivated individuals to join our sales team in Roanoke, VA. No prior automotive sales experience is required, but a strong work ethic, positive attitude, customer focus, competitive drive, excellent communication skills, coachability, self-motivation, and goal orientation are essential.

Responsibilities

- Welcome and assist customers as they arrive at the dealership - Engage with customers to understand their vehicle preferences, needs, and budget - Present vehicle features, model options, pricing, incentives, financing options, and dealership services - Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives - Follow up with prospective and previous customers by phone, email, text, and other communication channels - Build and maintain strong customer relationships that lead to repeat and referral business - Assist with vehicle delivery and ensure customers understand vehicle features and warranty coverage

Qualifications

- Previous automotive sales or customer service experience is preferred but not required - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Customer-focused with a desire to create exceptional experiences - Self-motivated with the ability to set and achieve goals - Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment - Strong organizational and time management skills - Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn dealership software systems - Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
