Responsibilities

  • Lead and support daily operations of the Car Care Center Service Department, ensuring efficient workflow, productivity, and exceptional customer service.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop Repair Technicians, Service Advisors, and sales associates while helping to foster a positive, high-performing team environment.
  • Absorb responsibility for store operations and sales performance in the Manager's absence.
  • Maintain clear and proactive communication with customers regarding repair recommendations, approvals, timelines, and service expectations.
  • Partner with Service Advisors and sales associates to explain repair recommendations, secure customer approvals, and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Organize and prioritize work assignments to maximize shop efficiency, vehicle throughput, and parts procurement processes.
  • Assist with opening and closing responsibilities, scheduling, estimate preparation, work orders, and overall store operations.
  • Support store sales growth and profitability through effective operational execution and customer service excellence.
  • Assist with inventory preparation, workflow monitoring, training initiatives, and other operational responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in the automotive repair industry.
  • An ASE Certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate team members.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Proficiency with automotive shop management software, diagnostic technology, and PC-based applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
  • A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Pay

The starting base compensation for this position is $56,422 - $79,192.30/yr. Actual pay will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location.

Schedule

This position is full-time, 5 days per week. Team members are required to work Saturdays as part of their regular schedule. The workweek includes one scheduled day off during the week and Sundays off. Additional schedule adjustments may be made based on business needs and approved time off.
