Automotive Parts Specialist

Responsibilities

• Working hand in hand with service advisors, and technicians to build accurate price quotes making sure all parts are billed correctly through the service department, or parts invoices
• Aid with daily inventory, receiving, stocking and shipping
• Refer to parts manuals (electronic format) to identify exactly the right part(s) for the make, model and year of vehicles being serviced
• Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of the parts counter, work area and stockroom
• Receive and fill telephone orders for parts

Job Requirements

• Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
• Previous parts advisor experience or automotive experience a plus but not required
• Understand basic automotive components and systems
• Ability to complete tasks in a fast paced work environment
• Possess a valid drivers license

Qualifications

• The right candidate must be able to multitask between servicing technicians, retail counter and phone orders while maintaining a courteous and professional attitude
• If candidate has experience in the automotive industry, in either the aftermarket or dealership, that is preferred!
• Dealership software experience a plus
• Must be able to work some Saturdays with a scheduled day off during the week when applicable
