Automotive Parts Specialist

About the role

As part of the EchoPark Automotive reconditioning team, the Automotive Parts Specialist coordinates parts for vehicle reconditioning, orders parts from suppliers, receives and stores parts, maintains inventory records, and processes parts warranties and returns.

Responsibilities

• Interact with Service Technicians to coordinate parts for vehicle reconditioning
• Order parts from suppliers based on Reconditioning Department and Technicians' requests
• Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are readily available when needed
• Maintain records of amounts received, and keep inventory controls
• Process parts warranties and parts return as necessary

Requirements

• Previous auto parts experience, preferred, CDK a plus
• Understand essential automotive components and systems
• Automotive dealership service experience is a plus
• A valid driver's license
