Automotive Parts Counter

Duties

• Assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials, and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line
• Pull purchased parts from stock
• Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information
• Assist outside sales representative with their orders
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up
• Assist service technicians in selecting parts needed for repairs in process
• Be friendly, professional and efficient when working with all customers, both on the phone and in person
• Provide the same high level of service to the other dealerships departments as is given to other customers
• Maintain neat and professional appearance of person and work area
• Arrive before designated starting time
• All other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor

Requirements

• Previous parts counter experience required
• Detail oriented
• Strong organization skills
• Ability to work as a team player
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background and drug test
