Automotive Parts Counter

About the role

This position plays an integral part in our shop operations, focusing on pulling and filling automotive parts orders, delivering parts to technicians or guests, and effectively working with service advisors and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Pulling and filling internal and external parts orders for pick up, delivery, or shipment.
• Locating parts from outside vendors when required due to parts being out-of-stock.
• Effectively communicating with guests/customers on prices/quotes and collecting payments.
• Sure internal parts requests are properly billed and that technicians receive their parts timely.
• Conduct weekly bin checks to ensure accurate inventory.
• Maintain parts inventory levels and shop materials and notify management of anything that needs immediate attention.
• Embodying exceptional guest service within our culture and core values.
• Create world-class guest experiences with each and every guest and customer.

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills.
• Effective time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

Qualifications

• Rotational Saturday workdays.
• Starting hourly pay rate range of $16.00 – $18.00+ with evaluation based on relevant skills, training, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Pay

The starting hourly pay rate range for this position is $16.00 – $18.00+ and will be evaluated based upon relevant skills, training, experience, education and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Schedule

The workdays for this position are Monday through Friday, with a rotational Saturday.
