Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in securing vehicle financing and protection products that enhance their ownership experience
  • Structure finance transactions for maximum profitability while maintaining lender approval standards
  • Present finance and insurance products professionally and effectively
  • Submit credit applications and work directly with lenders to obtain approvals
  • Accurately desk deals and make sound credit decisions within dealership guidelines
  • Prepare all finance contracts, paperwork, and deal documentation
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and lender regulations
  • Maintain proficiency with title laws, registration requirements, and funding procedures
  • Deliver completed finance packages and explain contract details to customers
  • Audit completed deals to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare and submit funding packages to lenders in a timely manner
  • Monitor contract funding and resolve any issues to ensure prompt payment
  • Maintain all required certifications and training for the position
  • Work closely with sales managers and sales consultants to support dealership goals
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the financing process

Requirements

  • College degree preferred or equivalent automotive finance experience
  • Minimum three years of automotive sales, finance, or F&I experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures
  • Understanding of lender programs, credit analysis, and funding processes
  • Knowledge of title laws, registration requirements, and compliance regulations
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong closing abilities and customer relationship-building skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume dealership environment
  • Basic Microsoft Office, dealership software, and internet proficiency
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
