Automotive F&I (Finance & Insurance) Manager

Responsibilities
- Finance & Deal Structuring
- Assist customers in securing financing options that meet their needs and budget
- Present finance, warranty, and protection products to enhance the ownership experience
- Structure deals to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Submit deals to lenders for approval and make sound credit decisions
- Negotiate financing terms and secure approvals through lender relationships
- Accurately desk and close deals in accordance with dealership processes
- Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all deals comply with federal, state, and local regulations
- Maintain proficiency in dealership finance procedures and compliance standards
- Prepare contracts, disclosures, and delivery paperwork accurately
- Ensure proper completion of title and registration documentation
- Maintain required certifications and ongoing training
- Funding & Process Improvement
- Guarantee timely funding of all contracts and monitor outstanding funding issues
- Audit deals post-sale to ensure accuracy and identify opportunities for improvement
- Work closely with sales, accounting, and lender partners to resolve funding concerns
- Analyze performance metrics and implement best practices to improve profitability and efficiency
- Customer Experience
- Deliver a professional, transparent, and customer-focused finance experience
- Build trust with customers through product knowledge and effective communication
- Educate customers on financing options and protection products
- Help create an exceptional dealership experience from purchase through delivery
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of automotive finance and insurance procedures
- Proven ability to structure deals for maximum profitability
- Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional appearance and customer-first mindset
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
- Desire for continuous learning and improvement
- Previous automotive F&I experience preferred
- College degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of title laws and vehicle registration processes
- Experience working with lenders and securing approvals
- Ability to maintain compliance with all applicable regulations
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
