Automotive Estimator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Estimator to join our team in Asbury Park, NJ. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience inspecting damaged vehicles, identifying repair requirements, preparing and reviewing estimates, and accurately determining vehicle values. Responsibilities

• Inspect damaged vehicles and assess the extent of damage
• Identify required repairs and document damage accurately
• Prepare, review, and evaluate automotive repair estimates
• Determine vehicle values based on condition and damage
• Communicate repair requirements and estimates clearly with customers, insurance representatives, and repair personnel
• Negotiate and resolve estimate-related issues when necessary
• Maintain accurate documentation and records
• Ensure estimates are thorough, accurate, and completed in a timely manner

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Automotive Estimator preferred
• Collision/auto body estimating experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of vehicle damage assessment and repair processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple estimates
• Full-time availability

Pay

$55,000-$85,000 annual salary, based on experience
