About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented estimator to generate accurate, timely reconditioning service estimates for internal and external customers, following management-defined formats and pricing.

Responsibilities

  • Create precise vehicle repair estimates based on damages, paint, color match, and blending procedures.
  • Utilize estimating tools effectively to ensure accuracy.
  • Document damages clearly within estimating systems to maintain transparency.
  • Follow all safety standards and report unsafe conditions promptly.
  • Collaborate with vendors and procurement teams to secure parts at optimal prices and timelines.
  • Monitor repair progress, communicate with customers, and update statuses as directed.
  • Engage in safety activities and adhere to health and safety procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and clients.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of automotive experience.
  • Ability to produce accurate estimates for mechanical and body repairs across various customer types.
  • Strong vendor coordination and procurement collaboration skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record; ability to operate vehicles with standard and automatic transmissions.
  • Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to safety protocols.
