Automotive Business Consultant – Accounting Specialist

Position Description

This is a HIGH travel position. Must be willing to travel, with overnight hotel stays, up to 5 nights per week (every week).

Responsibilities

• Establish professional relationships with customers
• Help their businesses become more efficient, effective, and profitable
• Work with dealership personnel to identify trouble areas within the dealership
• Use established and proven consulting services programs, as well as industry knowledge, to help solve these issues
• Follow-up with customers to maintain relationships and provide ongoing 'fee for service' support and problem resolution
• Build trust that will further drive consulting services sales

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's preferred but not required
• 5+ years of automotive dealership experience (Office Manager, controller(automotive accounting), and AP/AR Accounting Representative)
• Must be willing to travel extensively with overnight hotel stays up to 5 nights per week (every week)
• Must have reliable transportation as well as a valid driver’s license, with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years
• Must have reliable home internet with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing
• Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds accounting software is highly preferred

Training

• Time with experienced consulting and sales representatives in the field for approximately 90 days
• Online courses completed in your home office
• Classroom instruction through our offices in Dayton and Houston
• Your compensation during training will be a $60,000-63,000 base salary
• You will be eligible for quarterly bonuses after the 9 month training period
• Total targeted income after training (including base and bonuses) is $80,000+
