Automotive Accounting Clerk

About the role

Stokes Toyota Hilton Head is seeking a detail-oriented Automotive Accounting Clerk to support our dealership's financial operations. This role is essential to maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance, and supporting our leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Support other accounting clerks in posting and processing new and used car deals
• Send payments to lenders for vehicle payoff
• Call lenders for title updates, warranty cancellations, and submissions
• Assist with month-end close

Requirements

• Automotive dealership accounting experience preferred; will train the right candidate
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
• Full-time position requiring ability to meet deadlines
