Responsibilities

• Processing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all transactions.
• Managing billing processes, creating and sending out invoices, following up on unpaid accounts, and resolving any billing issues.
• Reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger, and preparing month-end close procedures.
• Assisting with financial audits, compliance, and tax filings.
• Providing support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks.
• Creating and updating expense reports.
• Preparing financial statements and reports.
• Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
• Ensuring compliance with all internal processes.
• Interacting with customers and vendors as necessary, providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• An associate's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the automotive or engineering industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, billing, and accounts receivable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with accounting software.
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures.
