In this role, you will be responsible for various accounting and clerical tasks related to the maintenance and processing of automotive transactions. Responsibilities
- Managing all accounts receivable duties, including billing, posting payments, and reconciling accounts.
- Performing data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
- Utilizing the Reynolds and Reynolds system for various accounting tasks.
- Processing invoices and ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Managing customer queries and disputes related to billing and payments.
- Collaborating with the sales and service departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Maintaining organized and updated financial records.
- Assisting with month-end closing activities and audits.
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Proficiency in using the Reynolds and Reynolds system.
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and billing procedures.
- Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High level of integrity and trustworthiness with the ability to handle sensitive financial information.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
