About the role
As an Automation Technician I/II/III for Greenheck Group you will build, wire, assemble, and install electrical controls used in machines and tooling systems. You will be responsible for basic programming of one or more of the following: HMI, PLC.
Responsibilities
- Write PLC-HMI program using various software packages.
- Create electrical schematics and electrical cabinet layout using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Build and wire electrical panels.
- Design low complexity machine guarding strategies that comply with OSHA and ANSI standards.
- Wire external machine components to electrical cabinet.
- Develop electrical parts list for the project.
- Order parts for projects using Ariba Purchasing system.
- Power up, troubleshoot, and commission machine to make production ready.
Requirements
Level I
- 0–2 years of relevant work experience required.
- High school or GED required.
- 2-year/associate degree in Electromechanical Technology, Automation Engineering Technology, or a related field of study preferred.
Level II
- 2–4 years of relevant work experience required.
- 2-year/associate degree in Electromechanical Technology, Automation Engineering Technology, or a related field of study or equivalent years of job experience required.
- AutoCAD or Drafting software.
- Basic PLC training.
- Basic HMI Programming.
Level III
- 4–6 years of relevant work experience required.
- 2-year/associate degree in Electromechanical Technology, Automation Engineering Technology, or a related field of study or equivalent years of job experience required.
- AutoCAD or Drafting software.
- Basic PLC training.
- Basic HMI Programming.
Schedule
Minimal travel is required for this role. Will work on-site at our Machine Development Center in Schofield, WI.
Pay
The starting base pay range for this position is $33.45/hour – $50.91/hour and may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
