Automation Systems Technician - 2nd Shift
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor automated machinery and equipment to ensure efficient production processes.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on automation systems to prevent unexpected breakdowns and delays.
Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems with automation equipment, taking prompt action to resolve issues or coordinate repairs with maintenance teams.
Maintain accurate records of equipment performance, maintenance tasks, and any required repairs.
Collaborate with supervisors and engineering teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
Replenish materials and supplies used by the automation equipment to support uninterrupted production operations.
Provide training and support to other team members on the proper use and handling of automation equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is a plus.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in operating and maintaining automated machinery and systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to address technical issues effectively.
- Able to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and safety.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Qualifications
- Extensive travel to the corporate office in California will be required in the first few months for training purposes.

Schedule
Onsite Monday through Friday supporting a three-shift operation.
