Automation Technician (2nd Shift)

The position is on 2nd Shift (Monday - Friday; 2PM - 10:30PM, OT as necessary).
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot injection molding process-related issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Operate and maintain injection molding process equipment
- Operate overhead crane
- Maintain injection process standards 6li>Collaborate with the injection team to identify and implement improvements related to TRP, cycle time, and scrap
- Start Engel and Sepro robots
- Troubleshoot injection mold machine automation issues
Requirements
- High school diploma / GED
- 2+ years of experience with new mold set-up and process plastic injection mold machines
- 2+ years of experience with the identification of injection plastic defects after the manufacturing process
Qualifications
- Familiarity with Engel and Sepro robots (preferred)
- Injection insert over-molding experience (preferred)
