Automation QA- (Playwright)

About the role

Assess software quality through Playwright/TypeScript automation testing, along with strong SQL knowledge. Detect and report bugs and glitches. Review and analyze system specifications. Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective processes and test plans. Implement test cases (manual or automated), and analyze results. Evaluate product code according to specifications. Build logs to document testing phases and defects.

Responsibilities

• Assess software quality through Playwright/TypeScript automation testing with TypeScript, along with strong SQL knowledge
• Detect and report bugs and glitches
• Review and analyze system specifications
• Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective processes and test plans
• Implement test cases (manual or automated), and analyze results
• Evaluate product code according to specifications
• Build logs to document testing phases and defects

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in QA Automation and Software Testing, with strong hands-on expertise in Playwright using TypeScript
• Proven experience leveraging Gen AI and Agentic AI based automation using tools such as GitHub Copilot, VS Code, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and similar AI-assisted development platforms
• Strong understanding of test automation frameworks, test strategy, test design, and CI/CD integration in Agile environments
• Well-versed in Agile/Scrum methodologies, actively collaborating with cross-functional teams and tracking work using Jira
• Extensive experience in API test automation (RESTful services) using tools/frameworks like Playwright API testing, Postman, or similar
• Hands-on experience with database testing using MySQL, including data validation and backend verification
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with a focus on improving test efficiency, quality, and automation coverage

Qualifications

• Experience testing Salesforce (SFDC) Sales Cloud platform would be added advantage, including functional, integration, and regression testing
