Automation Packaging Shop Technician

Core Responsibilities

• Tracking, receiving, sorting, and storage of parts into correct locations.
• Pulling parts for requisitions and preparing for small parcel shipment.
• Using inventory software to log parts, update inventory levels, and manage databases.
• Managing purchase requisitions from technicians to verify if parts are stock or if they need to be ordered and communicating with the National Automation Business Systems Manager, supplier returns, and return of warranty parts.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly Spare Parts room.
• Checking in parts against packing slips, and preparing outbound shipments as directed.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, inventory control, or parts preferred.
• Technical Skills: Intermediate computer skills and Microsoft software skills (specifically Excel) are required.
• Physical Strength: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for handling parts and materials.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, organization, and customer service skills.
