- Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
- Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
- Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)

What You Will Do
- Provide automation support for existing and future pharmaceutical process control systems
- Develop, improve or provide guidance of process automation application for present and future automation projects
- Develop and implement, in a timely and efficient manner, technology to achieve user goals
How You Will Get Here
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related subject area preferred
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered
- One to three years of validated experience in pharmaceutical automation and/or control system applications is preferred
- PLC automation control system start-ups, loop tuning, troubleshooting, and control system modifications
- Development of process, site utilities control systems or equipment control applications using PLC ladder and function block logic. Allen-Bradley PLC, Modicon PLC or GE iFIX experience is beneficial but not required
- Development, support and troubleshooting of Rockwell FactoryTalk SCADA systems including FactoryTalk Historian
- Knowledge of configuring and fixing servo systems and VFD’s
Qualifications
- Allen-Bradley PLC or Modicon PLC
- Rockwell FactoryTalk SCADA system development and support
- OPC communication software and configuration
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
- SQL Server database support and management
