What You Will Do

  • Provide automation support for existing and future pharmaceutical process control systems
  • Develop, improve or provide guidance of process automation application for present and future automation projects
  • Develop and implement, in a timely and efficient manner, technology to achieve user goals

How You Will Get Here

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related subject area preferred
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered
  • One to three years of validated experience in pharmaceutical automation and/or control system applications is preferred
  • PLC automation control system start-ups, loop tuning, troubleshooting, and control system modifications
  • Development of process, site utilities control systems or equipment control applications using PLC ladder and function block logic. Allen-Bradley PLC, Modicon PLC or GE iFIX experience is beneficial but not required
  • Development, support and troubleshooting of Rockwell FactoryTalk SCADA systems including FactoryTalk Historian
  • Knowledge of configuring and fixing servo systems and VFD’s

Qualifications

  • Allen-Bradley PLC or Modicon PLC
  • Rockwell FactoryTalk SCADA system development and support
  • OPC communication software and configuration
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
  • SQL Server database support and management
