Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between Automation/OT and IT teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment connectivity, communication, and data flow.
- Support integration between industrial control systems and IT infrastructure.
- Aid IT teams in understanding automation systems, architectures, and dependencies.
- Configure, maintain, and support automation platforms and data systems.
- Ensure accurate and reliable data collection through historian and integration platforms.
- Participate in GxP/validation activities where applicable.
- Document system configurations, architectures, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to system performance and reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in industrial automation or process control environments.
- Strong experience with AVEVA PI System (PI Historian).
- Experience working in GxP or validated environments.
- Experience with Ignition SCADA platforms.
- Experience with Rockwell Automation systems (Allen-Bradley PLCs, FactoryTalk).
- Strong troubleshooting skills across OT and IT systems.
- Ability to effectively communicate with IT teams unfamiliar with automation systems.
