About the Role
Automation & Controls Engineer supporting municipal and industrial water/wastewater projects within a Systems Integration team.
Responsibilities
- PLC and HMI programming
- Creating program and I/O documentation
- Conducting simulation, testing, and providing startup assistance
- Support SCADA projects nationwide and collaborate with expert teams
- Travel approximately 25% for startup and troubleshooting activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field (preferred)
- 0-2 years of automation/control experience with HMI, PLC, and SCADA integration
Skills
- Experience with Allen-Bradley (RSLogix/Studio 5000) and HMI platforms such as VTScada, Ignition, AVEVA InTouch, Rockwell FactoryTalk, GE iFIX, or Siemens Step 7 is advantageous
- Knowledge of cybersecurity, computer networking, virtualization, Windows, and Server OS is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MSSQL Server, or SQL Reporting Services is beneficial
