About the role

The automation team identifies, develops, deploys, and maintains automation solutions across the Plexus value stream to improve quality, efficiency, and velocity in manufacturing operations, encompassing design, development, analysis, production, and commercialization.

Responsibilities

  • Develops manufacturing solutions that are high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy customer requirements while establishing a technical specialty and mentoring others on the team.
  • Utilizes appropriate tools and equipment to perform work, including creation, analysis, and verification.
  • Demonstrates expertise in multiple phases/processes of the full Plexus manufacturing process and product requirements as applicable to the role.
  • Works independently within at least one phase/process of the manufacturing process without direction from mentors or functional management.
  • Produces comprehensive project documentation in accordance with quality and change management procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Intermediate decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and statistical analysis skills; experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) software.
  • Proactive and basic cross-discipline development knowledge.
  • Understanding of structured design.
  • Ability to develop good working relationships with team members and customers.
  • Lab tool, test, or measurement equipment experience preferred.

Pay

The annual compensation range for this position is $81,100.00 - $121,700.00. The salary offered within this range will be based on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements, and/or skill level.
