About the role
Act as the primary intelligent controls & automation (ICA) point of contact for a high-speed filling and packaging line. Provide daily support for ICA-related issues, utilizing electrical and controls knowledge. Develop and implement control strategies for manufacturing processes, focusing on performance, reliability, and safety. Support the design and programming of automation solutions using PLCs, SCADA systems, and other control technologies. Contribute to the implementation of data analytics, machine learning algorithms, and AI-driven solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and support automation opportunities.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Power, Controls, or Automation Engineering)
- Basic understanding of process and/or machine control concepts
- Familiarity with sensors, motors, PLCs, and industrial automation principles
- Ability to work in person at the Greensboro, NC facility
- Eagerness to learn and apply intelligent systems to enhance operational efficiency, product quality, and safety
