Automation Engineer

About the Role

Maximize equipment reliability and operational performance in fulfillment centers. Provide proactive controls automation and technical support, troubleshoot complex control systems, and analyze performance metrics. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and lead cross-functional teams to optimize material handling equipment (MHE) systems. Implement innovative projects and develop system design improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field or 4+ years of equivalent experience
• 4+ years of PLC programming and automation engineering experience
• 4+ years of robotics work cells and control systems experience
• 4+ years of Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Codesys Ladder Logic programming experience
• 4+ years of electrical theory, controls components, and automated equipment experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
