Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Aid in the calibration and setup of CCP vision inspection systems for battery pouch production.
• Support production optimization efforts during system commissioning and test runs.
• Maintain system performance and provide data/metrics on inspection accuracy.
• Resolve technical issues and report progress through regular internal updates.
• Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to troubleshoot system issues and enhance performance.
• Participate in ongoing validation activities to ensure systems meet quality and production standards.

Requirements

• Experience with vision systems, automation systems, and robotics.
• Proficiency in software testing and problem-solving.
• Ability to interface with customers and work collaboratively with engineering teams.
• Experience with Cognex, Keyence, or similar vision systems is a plus.

Essential Skills

• 1–3+ years of experience in automation/manufacturing engineering, robotics/robot programming, or machine vision systems.
• A strong troubleshooting mindset and willingness to learn in a hands-on environment.
