Automation Controls Specialist I

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and maintain Building Automation System (BAS) components and software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve BAS issues promptly to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
• Analyze and optimize BAS performance, providing manufacturer‑specific expertise and maintaining certifications.
• Collaborate with other trades and departments to optimize system integration.
• Maintain system documentation and training records.

Working Conditions

Work in technical, office, and field facility environments.

Physical Requirements

Ability to work at computer stations and within mechanical/electrical rooms.

Requirements

• Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor of Science degree required.
• Manufacturer‑trained with training certificates for installed BAS.
• Knowledgeable in HVAC, lighting, and energy management integration.
