About the role
The Automated Case Selector position within the Operations department supports the Distribution Manager. This role operates a shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

- Maintains an appropriate appearance and follows the established dress code guidelines for their respective position.
- Obtains and maintains a material handling equipment license, uses a handheld RF Scan Device, lifts up to 50 lbs, sits, stands, and walks for extended periods, twists, stoops, squats, and reaches above shoulder level.
- Follows dock safety, forklift, and product handling processes, conducts daily inspections, and reports incidents, accidents, and potential safety hazards immediately.
- Completes daily stretches before starting work and adheres to established safety and security policies.
- Understands and complies with the handling requirements of the products stored in operations, following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and specific customer work instructions.
- Completes the Handling Hours tracking document daily.
- Ensures inbound and outbound shipments are error and damage-free, scanning products accurately and matching item codes, and reporting all product damage to management.
- Maintains inventory accuracy and reports discrepancies to management.
- Participates in daily pre-shift meetings, general area housekeeping, and knowledge of multiple accounts and/or job functions within the given operation.
- Complies with food/safety SOPs and AIB standards, demonstrating experience or willingness to receive training in food safety.
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a material handling equipment license.
- Ability to use a handheld RF Scan Device.
- Physical capabilities to lift up to 50 lbs, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, twist, stoop, squat, and reach above shoulder level.
- Knowledge of dock safety, forklift, and product handling processes.
- Experience with food safety or willingness to receive training in food safety.
