Automated Case Selector - 3rd shift - 6pm to 4:30am - Mon - Thurs

About the role

The Automated Case Selector position is part of the Operations team under the supervision of the Distribution Manager. The role operates on a 3rd shift schedule from 6pm to 4:30am Monday through Thursday.

• Twists, stoops, squats, and reaches above shoulder level.
• Works in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Meets established productivity standards and understands the stocking, picking, and loading strategy of the assigned account.
• Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and specific customer work instructions.
• Completes the Handling Hours tracking document daily.
• Follows Dock Safety, Fork Lift & Product Handling processes, Motorized Equipment Daily Inspection Procedures, and reports all incidents, accidents, and potential safety hazards immediately.
• Performs daily stretches before starting work.
• Follows established safety and security policies.
• Understands and follows the handling requirements of the products stored in the operations.
• Completes the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in regards to product handling, stacking, storage, and loading.
• Completes all inbound and outbound paperwork accurately and completely, including receiving tickets, pick lists, load reports, etc.
• Reports all product damage to management and/or warehouse coordinator for immediate action.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and reports all discrepancies to management and/or warehouse coordinator.
• Participates in daily pre-shift meetings and general area housekeeping.
• Knowledgeable about multiple accounts and/or job functions within the given operation.
• Follows food/safety SOPs and AIB standards.
• Must have experience in Food Safety or be willing to receive training in Food Safety.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a material handling equipment license.
• Ability to use a handheld RF Scan Device.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to twist, stoop, squat, and reach above shoulder level.
• Experience in a similar role or willingness to receive training in Food Safety.

Benefits

• Shift differential when applicable.
• Performance incentive up to $3.00/hour.

Pay

$19.00 per hour + $1.50 shift differential when applicable + performance incentive up to $3.00/hour.
