Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and assess vehicle damage in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Prepare detailed repair estimates using estimating software (e.g., CCC One, Audatex, Mitchell).
  • Communicate with insurance companies to obtain approval for repairs.
  • Explain estimates and repair process to customers in a clear and understandable way.
  • Cookordinate with technicians, parts department, and body shop manager to ensure timely and efficient repairs.
  • Update customers on repair status and answer any questions throughout the process.
  • Conduct post-repair inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records for all estimates and repairs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and insurance company procedures.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (required); additional technical or automotive training a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in collision estimating or a related field.
  • Proficiency with estimating software (CCC, Mitchell, or Audatex).
  • Strong knowledge of auto body repair processes and terminology.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and inspect vehicles for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
