Auto Parts Advisor/Clerk

About the role

We are looking for self-motivated and reliable individuals for our parts advisor position at our CDJR dealership in Wichita Falls.

Responsibilities

• Discusses the use and features of various parts with customers
• Fills customer orders from stock
• Prepares sales slip or sales contract
• Advises customer on substitution or modification of part when replacement is not available
• Examines returned part to determine if defective, and exchanges part or refunds money
• Marks and stores parts in the stockroom according to the prearranged system
• Receives and fills internet orders for parts
• Takes inventory of stock
• Completes any required reports or logs
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience preferred
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
• Highly professional and dependable
• Safety and customer service oriented
• Must be willing to participate in and pass a background check and clear a drug screening

Schedule

• Full-Time (40-50 average hours per week)
• Work every Saturday from open to close (Sundays and one weekday off)
