Auto Maintenance Technician I

About the role

We are seeking an Auto Maintenance Tech I to perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine auto maintenance such as oil and filter changes, fuel filter replacements, transmission flushes, and vehicle inspections.
• Test, maintain, and replace batteries, as well as diagnose and repair electrical systems.
• Handle repairs on tires, safety inspections, interior/exterior components, brakes, steering, and suspension systems.
• Manage AC system evacuations and recharges, equipment maintenance, and parts procurement from approved vendors.
• Upfit new vehicles with necessary equipment and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Ability to operate standard, automatic, and electric vehicles.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Preferred Skills and Certifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5) when required.

Pay

Compensation ranges from $20.10 to $30.10 per hour, with potential additional incentives.
