Auto Field Adjuster I, II, or Sr. - National General

About the role

National General is a part of The Allstate Corporation, offering home, auto, and accident and health insurance, as well as other specialty niche insurance products. This role is remote and involves engaging with interested prospective customers through inbound and proactive outbound calls.

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive estimates of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims to ensure proper disposition.
• Demonstrate sound estimating fundamentals and a basic understanding of all policy types written by the company.
• Negotiate settlements, make settlement payments, and document all activities within authority limits.
• Apply sound understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices.
• Build functional relationships with both internal and external customers.

Requirements

• Prior auto field adjusting experience and an active adjuster license.
• Strong negotiation skills, especially when working with repair shops.
• Certified Collision Claim (CCC) estimating experience is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and maintain strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Field-based position with a company-provided vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience in auto body repair, automotive maintenance, and motor vehicle repairs.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficiency in business acumen, financial analysis, and digital literacy.

Compensation

The base compensation offered for this role is:

• Field Auto Consultant I: $$26.49/hr. – $40.99/hr.
• Field Auto Consultant II: $28.03/hr. – $43.70/hr.
• Field Auto Sr Consultant I: $35.82/hr. – $50.24/hr.
• Field Auto Sr Consultant II: $37.98/hr. – $52.84/hr.
