About the role
This is a field-based, territory-specific opportunity supporting Lincoln, NE and surrounding areas. We are seeking a skilled Auto Field Appraiser with strong time management skills, hands-on experience using CCC ONE or similar estimating software, and proven negotiation skills. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering a positive, customer-focused experience.
Responsibilities
- Create or audit comprehensive estimates of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims in auto or specialty lines, leading to proper disposition.
- Train, mentor, control quality, and provide technical assistance on material damage claims.
- Possess strong estimating fundamentals to evaluate damages on losses of all severities.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of all policy types written by the company.
- Negotiate settlements, make settlement payments, and document all activities in complex files across multiple lines.
- Evaluate settlement alternatives by reviewing regulatory compliance and fair claims practices; decide on the best option.
- Build and maintain relationships with both internal and external customers across multiple lines.

Pay
Base compensation offered for this role is:
- Field Adjuster Cons I: $26.49 – $37.50/hour
- Field Adjuster Cons II: $28.03 – $39.42/hour
- Field Adjuster Sr. Cons I: $35.82 – $45.58/hour
Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation may include additional components such as incentive pay (e.g., commission or bonus), if applicable.
