Audit Summer Internship — May-August 2027

About the Role

Frankel’s internship program is designed to offer a dynamic and engaging experience for aspiring accounting students. The program focuses on training and mentorship, collaboration, hands-on experience, and fun, with a student-centered approach. We are currently seeking Audit interns to join our team for the summer of 2027 (May to August).

Responsibilities

• Participate in firm-sponsored training sessions to learn our software, methodology, and procedures.
• Perform day-to-day audit work for all audit phases in accordance with GAAP.
• Attend client engagement meetings to determine timelines and goals of an audit.
• Research business trends to assist the team in providing solutions to our clients.
• Prepare accounting-related reports.
• Perform other audit and accounting duties as needed for the firm.
• Network and build relationships across the firm.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting with plans to sit for the CPA exam.
• A minimum GPA of 3.2 is preferred.
• Available for full-time employment Fall 2027-2029.
• Available on-site during the months of May-August.
• Able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
• Local students will be given preference due to the in-person nature of the internship.
