About the role

Weaver’s Audit Investment Funds (IF) practice is seeking an Audit Senior Associate to perform in-charge responsibilities on larger and more complex engagements, as well as manager responsibilities on smaller and less complex engagements. This role primarily services clients within the Financial Services Industry (Alternative Investment Funds, Financial Institutions, Broker/Dealers, and others) and may occasionally assist on engagements in other industries. The Audit IF Senior Associate executes audit plans across all financial statement areas, develops staff, and builds client relationships through effective communication and engagement planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA candidate
  • 2 – 5+ years of public accounting experience, industry experience, or a combination of both
  • Experience in Financial Services (Alternative Investment Funds, Financial Institutions, Broker/Dealers, Insurance, or related industries)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA certification
