About the role

Weaver’s Audit Investment Funds (IF) practice is seeking an Audit Senior Associate to join their growing team. In this role, you will perform in-charge responsibilities on larger and more complex engagements and manage smaller, less complex engagements. You will primarily service clients within the Financial Services Industry (Alternative Investment Funds, Financial Institutions, Broker/Dealers, and others) and occasionally assist on engagements in other industries. Responsibilities include executing audit plans across all financial statement areas, developing staff, and building client relationships through effective communication and engagement planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA candidate
  • 2 – 5+ years of public accounting experience, industry experience, or a combination of both
  • Experience in Financial Services (Alternative Investment Funds, Financial Institutions, Broker/Dealers, Insurance, or related industries)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA certification
