About the role

This is a fully remote role within our national Real Estate practice, serving clients across the United States. The position requires approximately 30% travel to work onsite with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage audit, review, compilation engagements, and multiple teams; provide performance feedback to team members upon engagement completion.
  • Partner with Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners in risk assessment, audit procedures, and reporting.
  • Oversee daily operations of audit engagements, including staffing, planning, budgeting, risk assessment, fieldwork, financial reporting, and conclusion.
  • Research and communicate guidance on complex accounting matters and transactions.
  • Assist clients with GAAP compliance and the adoption of FASB Accounting Standard Updates; address client concerns and resolve problems proactively and promptly.
  • Serve as an instructor in firm, department training programs, and meetings.
  • Participate in and provide leadership for community, networking, and business development activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
  • CPA certification required.
  • CCIFP Certification preferred.
  • Real Estate industry experience in private and/or public sectors required.
  • At least five years of job-related experience in public accounting.
  • Prior supervisory experience required.

Pay

The estimated base pay range for this role is $110,000 to $166,000. Offers typically do not start at the maximum of the range, allowing for future salary increases. Actual salary depends on factors such as location, skills, experience, training, education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws.

Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on individual and firm performance.
