About the role
The Senior Audit Manager will lead audit engagements for clients in the Real Estate sector across various locations including Austin, TX; Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; Minneapolis, MN; San Antonio, TX; Schaumburg, IL; Houston, TX; Denver, CO; Scottsdale, AZ; Atlanta, GA; Baltimore, MD; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Nashville, TN; and Washington, D.C. The role involves leading teams to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and auditing practices.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage audit engagements for Real Estate clients
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Conduct thorough audits to identify risks and recommend improvements
- Prepare and present audit findings to management and regulatory bodies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective audit processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in audit or accounting
- Experience working with Real Estate clients is a plus
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Skills
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
- Experience with Real Estate-specific auditing techniques
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
