About the role
Lead and manage the engagement team on audit assignments of a portfolio of clients in various industries, including public listed companies. Ensure timely completion of audit deliverables while complying with the highest degree of professional and ethical standards, client confidentiality, and personal conduct.
Responsibilities
- Review the work of subordinates and provide leadership to deliver work of high standard and integrity.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge and proficiency in advanced technical skills necessary for carrying out assurance engagements, including IFRSs and ISAs.
- Manage timely billings and collections, as well as risk management of engagements, while developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Participate in the firm’s practice development efforts and facilitate internal training.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members on their personal growth and career progression.
Requirements
- Possess at least a relevant Degree in Accounting, ACCA, or equivalent.
- More than 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in leading and managing teams.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, integrity, professionalism, and work ethics.
- Good command of written and spoken English and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Strong drive to excel professionally and ability to guide and motivate team members.
- Able to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
- Good communication, interpersonal skills, and commitment to teamwork with a positive attitude.
