Responsibilities
- Obtains a good working knowledge of audit and other applicable software
- Participates in audit engagements; assists in the preparation of financial statements and notes to the financial statement
- Self-review of workpapers prior to submitting to direct supervisor
- Assisting in special projects, as needed.
- Adherence to the Firm’s Mission and Core Values.
Requirements
- Candidates to be considered for an internship should be Accounting Majors, completing their SOPHOMORE (2nd), JUNIOR (3rd), SENIOR (4th), or FIFTH YEAR during the Spring Semester of 2028.
- All candidates must possess excellent communication and organizational skills, be able to prioritize multiple tasks and be highly detail oriented.
- The ideal candidate also possesses: strong computer skills and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word; the ability to work independently, with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm; results-oriented, with high level of personal integrity; and excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
- Please indicate on your resume the date of completion of your 150-hour requirement and/or when you will become CPA eligible.
