Spring 2026 Full-time Audit Internship

About the role

Frazier & Deeter offers a full-time, busy-season internship during the Spring 2026 semester. This internship is designed for Accounting students who wish to gain hands-on experience in the field of public accounting.

Responsibilities

• Tax interns will learn from professionals of all levels and work on a variety of projects and engagements.
• Auditors will work with seniors and managers on a variety of client engagements from various industries, often times acting as the associate on the engagement.
• Interns will have the opportunity to work on ad-hoc projects for the department as they arise.
• Interns will gain testing experience in many sections of the audit, including planning procedures, various balance sheet and income statement testing areas, and reporting procedures.
• Interns will review feedback with their seniors and managers to continue to improve their work.
• Interns will reach out to their Intern Buddy to get some advice over lunch and network with FD staff and fellow interns at firm social events.
• Interns will ask questions and grow professionally to best prepare themselves for a career in public accounting.

Requirements

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
• Written and verbal communication skills that demonstrate professionalism.
• A strong work ethic and eagerness to follow through on assignments.
• The openness to giving and receiving honest feedback.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools including with Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Skills

• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites (Audit Only).
