Audiovisual Technician III

Position Duties

Serve as technical lead for enterprise AV systems.

Develop AV standards and best practices.

Provide highest-level technical escalation.

Evaluate emerging technologies.

Recommend capital improvements.

Systems Engineering

Design integrated AV systems.

Program and configure AV control systems (e.g., Neat, Crestron, Extron) and DSP audio systems.

Conducts testing and validation of new hardware and software prior to deployment in production environment.

Performs quality assurance checks on all hardware and software prior to implementation.

Manage firmware lifecycle.

Mentorship and Documentation

Coordinate with team members and leadership to identify areas requiring new or revised training and documentation.

Create technical procedures.

Actively maintain knowledge of departmental processes, procedures, and system configurations relevant to job duties.

Maintain enterprise standards documentation.

Develop training programs.

Project Leadership

Lead enterprise AV deployments.

Coincide with vendors and contractors.

Review system designs.

Commission new installations.

Develop project documentation.

Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as requested.
