About the role

We are seeking an Audiologist or Hearing Aid Specialist to join our team in Bloomingdale, IL. Part time or full-time positions are available, with 3-5 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Help more people hear better by providing clinical expertise to diagnose and treat hearing loss while ensuring a positive patient experience.
  • Act in accordance with the required industry and state professional licensing standards.
  • Grow your patient population and meet practice financial goals.
  • Provide quality care and aftercare of dispensing services such as hearing tests, hearing aid fittings, educate and train hearing aid users of best practices.
  • Perform checks on hearing aids and other amplification devices. This includes but is not limited to troubleshooting, conducting repairs to hearing aids, earmolds and cleaning of hearing aids.
  • Achieve practice growth with a strong mindset on sales and key business metrics while maintaining ethical practice standards.
  • Local community outreach including health fairs and developing physician relationships.
  • Counsel patients on the purchase of their hearing aids, devices, and accessories.
  • Maintain a current understanding of third-party payors and various payment methods in accordance with federal and state laws.
  • Understand and meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly clinical finance targets working closely with your PCC and Manager to achieve clinics financial KPIs.
  • Support Telehealth initiatives (Remote Care) to expand patient care and product portfolio including but not limited to conducting hearing tests, coach and educate patients on hearing aid devices.
  • Maintain continuing education requirements based on state requirements.
  • Ability to operate audiometric equipment and to interpret the results.
  • Ability to communicate test results and interpret and propose treatment in a manner easily understood by patients.

Qualifications

  • Active Hearing Aid Dispensing License or Audiology License in accordance with state requirements.
  • 2+ years Hearing Aid sales experience or 2 years equivalent in industry training under a licensed HIS or AuD.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to operate audiometric equipment and interpret results.
  • Knowledge of third-party payors and payment methods.
  • Ability to maintain continuing education requirements.

Pay

Base Salary $55k - $90k base (based on license type and credentials) + Uncapped Commission

Schedule

Part time or full-time positions are available, with 3-5 days per week.
