IS SPECIALIST

Job Summary

The Information Systems Specialist provides software and network support, training and troubleshooting in a networked computer environment. They support a wide range of applications including Microsoft and other 3rd party software.

Requirements

• AA/AS degree in computer related field plus two years relevant experience; or BA/BS degree in computer science or related discipline; or combination of education and experience enabling performance of all aspects of the position.
• Must have the ability to independently perform all the duties of the position efficiently and effectively.
• Requires the ability to install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain all the software applications and peripheral equipment used at the hospital and outlying clinics.
• Strong communication and training skills to communicate technical information to non-technical users.
• Advanced personal computer word processing, spreadsheet, database, Windows, and Linux skills.
• Sufficient analytical skills to assess problems or unusual situations and develop solutions.
• Prefer a working understanding of the hospital and individual department operations, goals and objectives relating to Computer and Communications Services.
• Prefer knowledge of how to assemble and disassemble personal computer components, including cabling.
• Windows certification or equivalent.

Shift: Day Shift 8a-4:30p
Pay Range: $23.45-$30.49*
